About Us

In 1998, Kevin and Gerry Elwood started The Maids house cleaning service in Red Bank, New Jersey. For the first three and a half years, Gerry managed the office. Kevin, a former banker and a current CPA, joined the team full time to manage the accounting and finance responsibilities in the spring of 2002.  This dynamic duo earned the Franchise of the Year award during the annual TMI convention following years of steady growth.  They are extremely proud of this accomplishment to be selected from all the franchises throughout Canada and the US. Over they years they have continued to grow and expand.  Their current territory now includes Monmouth, Ocean, Burlington and Camden Counties in NJ and Orange County, NY.

However, there is a never ending need to continue what they are doing. Therefore, they won't stop until they are cleaning every house in their territory. They moved their original office into an old Victorian building on Maple Avenue, Red Bank in February of 2004. To accommodate reaching quality employees, they have opened satellite offices in Freehold, NJ,   and Merchantville, NJ and in Chester, NY.
